2009 Newbury Park Invitational Wrestling Tournament
The 28th annual Newbury Park Invitational, Ventura County’s longest running wrestling tournament, will be held on December 5, 2009.
- Double elimination
- $300 entry fee per team
- Last three tournament winners were Selma, Mojave (NV), and Royal high schools

- Team check-ins start at 6:00am in the gym.
- Weigh-ins start at 6:30 in the wrestling room.
- Coaches meeting starts at 7:45am.
- Wrestling will begin at 9:00am.
- There will be a two (2) pound weight allowance for the tournament.
- All wrestlers must be assessed using the CIF Weight Management Program.
- Athletes without proof of assessment will not be allowed to compete.
- All teams must register online with Tournament Masters at www.tmi.150m.com no later than Wednesday, December 2.
- Teams registering correctly and on time will receive (2) coach’s lunch vouchers.
- Each team will receive 4 wristbands for admission (coaches, trainers, and stats). Any additional personnel will need to pay for admission.
- Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12 and students with ID card.
- Full concessions will be available.
- Food or ice chests will not be allowed in the gym.
